Easy Science Experiments For Kids – Narrow It Down So Your Child Can Choose

The first battle when you are looking for easy science experiments for kids to do on their own is to narrow down the project choices to something they can handle. You want to set it up so they can make the final decisions without overwhelming them.

Your first steps will be to filter out all of the project choices that are not going to work.

The obvious first step is to look at the topic. If it is an earth science topic, then you only search for earth science, if it is evaporation, then look for that. Unfortunately often it is a very general or open-ended sort of thing. In that case you will use the things the kids seem to like or just use the cool factor.

Now you narrow you search to the right grade level. This way you will not be distracted by other projects that may look cool but do not fit this particular assignment.
